Build a weekly review that sticks

  1. Measure current capture and planning leakage
    45 min

This is your before photo. Do not tidy anything first — you need the messy numbers as they are today so week 8 can be compared honestly.

Set a 45-minute timer and work with what you have open:

    • Open your task list wherever it lives now and count every active project — any outcome that needs more than one action.
    • Scan each project and mark tasks with no next physical action written down. Count them as orphan tasks.
    • Open your calendar for the past 14 days and the next 14 days. Count events and tasks that are overdue, missed, or carried over without being rescheduled.
    • Check sent messages — email sent, chat sent, notes — for the last two weeks. List every waiting-for you asked for but never recorded in one place. Those are gaps.

Copy this table to paper or a note and fill it in one pass. Use the same fields again at week 8.
