- Locate your state’s active fortified-roof grant program45 min
This step produces the official program name, the administering state agency, the direct URL to the program page and registration portal, and the current funding round’s status — open, lottery, waiting list, or closed.
The challenge: each of the six states runs its own separate program with different names, URLs, enrollment models, and funding cycles. There is no single federal portal, and a generic search for “roof grant” buries the real program under contractor ads.
