You now have the correct board URL bookmarked and its phone number saved. Use this page for every subsequent step — it is your single source of truth.
- Open the NASCLA State Licensing Board Directory at nascla.org/state-licensing-board-directory.
- Click your state on the map and note the agency name, website URL, and phone number that appear.
- Open the board’s website and confirm the URL ends in .gov — otherwise you are on a private site.
- Bookmark the board’s homepage and the page titled “License Application” or “How to Apply.”
- Save the board’s phone number to your contacts as “[State] Contractor License Board.”
