  1. Map your ideal reader and their expensive problem
    1 hour 30 min

Start with one reader you can name in the street, not an audience. This profile decides everything that follows — what you promise, what you charge, and who you ignore. Keep it to one page with five boxes you can fill without adjectives.

    Fill these boxes concretely:

    • Role + context — who they are and where the problem hits (e.g., freelance B2B writer pitching clients, solo consultant selling workshops)
    • Expensive problem — stated as a cost per week or month in time, money or risk missed
    • Current workaround — what they do today and what it costs them
    • Willingness to pay signal — one thing they already pay for to fix this (tool, template, course, freelancer)
    • Exclusion rule — a single sentence that disqualifies the wrong reader
