  1. Build a ranked list of ten candidate pop-up hosts
    2 hours 30 min

What makes a host worth pitching. Buildings where dozens of people already ride: corporate campuses and medical offices with bike cages, apartment communities near commuting trails, large gyms and breweries with regular rider crowds. Mine prospects from Google Maps sweeps of big employers and 150-plus-unit complexes inside your service radius, your city’s cycling Facebook groups and subreddit, Bike to Work Day station sponsors, and Strava heatmap commute corridors. Screen roughly twenty candidates down to the strongest ten.

One row per prospect — every column filled before you rank.

    • Host name and type: workplace or apartment community.
    • Contact person and title — facilities manager, property manager, or events/HR owner — with phone and email.
    • Estimated rider count plus evidence: LinkedIn headcount, unit count times a commuter share you can justify, bikes counted in the cage.
    • Parking and loading: where a van or cargo bike stops, distance to the work spot, cart or elevator access.
    • Rank score with a one-line reason.

A row without a named contact is not done. Save this sheet as the master file every later step reads.
