- A website for finding and reviewing books, where readers can look up titles, lengths and reviews. In the guide it is suggested as a place to check a book before committing to read it in a single weekend.

- A digital library offering free eBooks of works in the public domain. In the guide it is mentioned as one option for getting a free copy of the book you choose to read.
- FutureMe
- A service that lets you write a letter to your future self and schedule it for email delivery on a chosen future date. In the guide you write the letter on the site, pick a delivery date, send it and verify delivery through a confirmation email.
