Who it's for
Aspiring pilots in the U.S. who have not yet started flight training and want a structured roadmap from zero to a private pilot certificate. Also useful for student pilots who have started training but want to organise the remainder efficiently.
About this playbook
This guide takes a determined beginner from zero flight experience to a private pilot certificate through a clear, sequential path. It covers the entire journey: obtaining a medical certificate and student pilot paperwork, completing ground school and passing the FAA knowledge test, training through solo and cross-country flights, and passing the checkride with a designated pilot examiner. The focus is on what to do next, when to do it, and how to avoid common delays. It does not cover advanced ratings, instrument training, or aircraft ownership decisions.
