Do I need to see a doctor before I can start?

Do I need to buy my own scuba gear?

Minimum age 10 (junior open water) or 15 (standard open water). Ability to swim 200 metres continuously (or 300 metres with mask, fins, and snorkel for some agencies). No scuba experience required.
